I met Lori over 10 years ago when I started taking voice lessons for the first time. I had been in a band previously and it hadn't worked out. I had always sung. I considered myself to be a good singer when I met Lori, but I had no idea of the effect that she would have on my voice... and my life. Lori taught me how to have power behind my voice. Not long after starting my lessons, I realized I had so much more potential. She brought that out. She encouraged me to try out for an amazing band. They were hesitant about having a female lead singer, but thanks to Lori, I was hired. I stayed with them until life's circumstances (babies, distance.. etc.) made it too difficult for everyone to continue. We did everything from Heart to Aerosmith and our own originals. Before I met and studied with Lori, I had tried "Barracuda" with my previous band. Now I could hit that and so much more. Over the years of continuing to seek Lori's guidance, she became an invaluable friend. Over the last two years, Lori has shared with me the art of teaching voice and now I am teaching as well. I am grateful to Lori for so many things and I can only hope that in my teaching I can give to others what she gave to me.

Singing is always something I was good at and people used to tell me to do something with it...so I did.  I joined the New Jersey cover band scene and fell in love with it.  The problem was...surviving for more than 2 or 3 shows in a row.  That's when I decided to take vocal lessons from Lori.  She has successfully trained my voice so I can last all night and for more shows after that.  I hope to just get better with her teachings.  Thank you, Lori, for all of your support, training and guidance!!
